Based in New York, Paul Angelides has more than three decades of experience in forensic engineering and is often called upon as an expert witness and consultant in court and government proceedings. Additionally, Paul Angelides maintains membership in the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE), which offers numerous educational and networking opportunities for its members.

The organization holds two major multidisciplinary seminars annually that allow member forensic engineers to broaden their knowledge base while accumulating professional development credit required to maintain their licenses. These two-day seminars typically take place in January and July, and each is worth up to 14 continuing education credits.

NAFE also hosts a members-only email discussion group so that forensic engineers can draw upon the collective knowledge of the member base when they encounter unique challenges in their practices. The group is open to associate and senior members, as well as NAFE fellows. Affiliate members must be in good standing for four years before they can take part.
